Turning the Soil
A pause to make space for what wants to grow.
compliance keeps the flaw under wraps
yet the flaw is, too, a veil
to be rent
what is obscured
cannot be measured
against anything else
calling a truce—
what good is a battle
against oneself
stepping back
to restore and cultivate
a garden for me
pulling the weeds
turning the soil
for replanting
casting lines into quiet waters,
Rosslyn goes fishing
for the self
The Dandelion Notes pauses for three months.
We’ll meet again in July.

Hello. I am Rosslyn Chay, poet × soulworker. I write from the terrain of grief and fracture, breathing life into what is carried in silence. The Dandelion Notes are field notes from this practice.
