Learn to Wait.
Learn to wait.
Exercise patience and kindness
with the empty cup thirsty to be filled.
Recognize the wholeness of absence
and the abundance of space.
Forgo the commentary on silence;
forgive the drama trying to emulate life—
splashes of disappointment and resentment
from the stagnant pool reflecting a poor likeness.
Distracted by false promises,
the mystery forsaken—
a rejection of the truth of I,
what has been long sought.
Release all visions; be shown, be taught;
let the unmanifest be untouched.
Settle in the clearing
not with the hope of being filled
but a clear seeing of this drought—
that this, too, is grace.
P.s. and even this drought is but a perception, a momentary truth.

New to The Dandelion Notes?
Hello & welcome — I am glad you are here. I am Rosslyn Chay, facilitator, healer, poet—each of these, a very human attempt to mend our fractured relationship with our nature and free the truth of who we are from the weight of our history. The Dandelion Notes are field notes on my attempts.
